Skye has a proven successful show record, having competed through Preliminary eventing and Level 4 Jumpers. Always careful, clean, and fast, he’ll happily take you to your first CIC or Low Juniors Championships. Skye is correct, steady and obedient on the flat with three good gaits and is well schooled in all the lateral movements through 2nd level. He’s consistently double clear in both jumping phases. Joe Fargis said he was ‘the sweetest horse’ and ‘a great jumper’. XC machine, never questions the typical event fences (ditch, bank, water, corner, etc.) Careful and scopey in the show jump arena, he’d be just as happy in the 4′ classes. He’s very people-orientated and loveable, wanting to be the center of attention. Easy to handle in the barn, stands for vet/farrier, loves baths, self-loads, comes when you whistle. Easy keeper, sound, loves all other horses, hacks out on the buckle alone or in company. Not a total dead-head packer; he will always jump and will always jump safely, but would prefer a rider with some experience that doesn’t get tense and pull. Rider has new horse, must sell Skye.
