‘Scotty’ is a ‘knows his job’ kinda guy – shows up ready and eager to work! Can do all the English disciplines – eventing experience thru Prelim, Hunter/Jumper mileage, and great dressage work! Easy and straightforward to ride, suitable for an intermediate rider looking to get great safe miles on the flat and over fences. Steady and reliable through 3’6″ (recent winner in a 1.10 meter class at a ‘AA’ show!). Knows where he’s at in the lines, finds his distance, keeps a quiet and steady rhythm to his fences. Accurate in the air, easy to ride jump – would excel as an equitation horse! Flat work is very correct at 2nd level, with gaits and train-ability to do higher; schooling some 3rd level movements. Pleasant and easy to be around, great for all the usual (vet/farrier), hauls beautifully, hacks out like a charm. People-oriented, wants to do a good job! Not spooky, kind, extremely safe on the ground and great to work with. Vetted in February of this year with a full set of clean x-rays.
