If pretty is as pretty does, then this young lady delivers! Wonderfully bred (By Resonanz (Rohdiamant) out of a Weisswein mare), and impeccably started, Roulette is destined to be successful in any English arena. An above average mover, she is supple and swingy in all her gaits is a very comfortable ride. Expressive, lofty and light canter, very correctly uphill and balanced. Rhythmic, soft and swingy trot with good reach and push, correct reaching walk. She is sure to catch everyone’s eye as strength, fitness and training bring out even more movement and expression.
Aptitude for jumping already showing – when turned out in the jump field she jumped the coop, the ‘scary barrels’ and the ditch and drop all on her own! Bold, athletic, honest, and happy free-jumping (pictures coming soon!). Has been out and about just the right amount as a coming 4 yr old – a few new places, trail rides with friends down to the beach, small schooling shows, etc. Incredible mind – very quiet, obedient and willing. Very rideable, travels naturally on the bit with a steady frame goes very nicely to the hand with a quiet mouth, no need for a flash or tight noseband. Very level-headed, a quick learner with a good work ethic. Sound, UTD.
Loves being pampered! The first up to you in the field, enjoys grooming and being doted on – has a *great* tail! Very attentive, stands quietly, good for farrier/vet. Walks into the trailer like a pro, settles into new environments well.
She comes with an impressive show record already! Inspected as a weanling by the Oldenburg Verband. Was the 2005 Beaujolais Sport Horse Prospect Winner with a score of 81.5, as well as the NW Sport Horse Breeders Year End Winner in 2005 for Dressage Breeding, earning recognition as a top 5 weanling filly! Was a super-star at her first under-saddle show, getting ’8′s (!) in her very first dressage test and taking home a blue ribbon in Training Level test 2! Acted like she’d been shown every weekend – never put a foot wrong, was the best behaved horse on the show grounds. Professional quality with an amateur-proof mind, will be an added valuable dimension to any competition/breeding program.
